A Moleskine is the perfect object: A blend of form, and function. Crisp pages ready to soak up ink + feeling!
A Mac is much the same, and I think they go well together!
Post your thoughts on the synergy of using these tools together, and if possible a photo of both of your objects of affection together.
Also: discussions of your ’system for capturing thoughts, ideas, and tasks. How do you blend the two systems together, or perhaps you prefer to keep paper and digital in two separate worlds.

    active 2 months ago

The poet’s block. This is where you put a little about your poet self. How did you get started on poetry? Who inspired you and encouraged you to write poems? Do you mull over every line or does the muse get your pen flowing? What types of poems do you prefer? Anything you’d like to share with other poets.

Words.

Doesn’t matter what shape or form.

I love them all.

Written in a moleskine,

or sung by the fabulous Amy Winehouse.

Tonight, her words made my heart crack.

Every single one.

blogs: Beth Tyrrell wrote a new blog post: Stuck for Ideas

I have a daily blog; usually I do individual drawing, but lately I’m stuck on ideas. Any multiple-day themes I could do? In the past I’ve done food, drinks, saints, dog breeds, etc. I’m stuck on a good idea however.

blogs: Administrator wrote a new blog post: Mark Dykeman on the Insanity of Paper Notebooks

Broadcasting Brain’s Mark Dykeman reveals that he is “a bit borderline obsessive-compulsive” when it comes to his paper notebooks. Though he admits that he “massacres” and “abuses” his notebooks, he loves writing in pen and paper. He goes on to reveal that notebooks are a “great, if somewhat archaic, way to capture your thoughts.”

A new [...]
