Hand Drawn Illustration Inspiration

Digital illustrator Rob Bowen features hand drawn illustrations that help him get around an inspirational slump. Included in the list are the works of L Filipe dos Santos, Berni Valenta, Michael Murdock, and Irina Vinnik.

As a digital illustrator, I am often in awe of those who can create such wonderfully inspired work without a computer among their list of tools. Hand drawn illustrations are some of my favorite works to sift through when I am in an inspirational slump, so I thought I would pay a little of that inspiration forward…

So this is a Dead Wings look at some extremely talented illustrators to help cap off 09 in a celebratory fashion. By shining a spotlight on some fabulous creatives and a few pieces from their portfolio, we are ringing in the new year in appreciation of some of the work that has kept us inspired. Hopefully this will be enough inspiration to carry you through this last week of the year.
