I was looking through my brand new eighteen month weekly notebook, and it came to my attention that roughly three weeks ago I picked up a brand new eighteen month weekly notebook. I was in that age old predicament wherein one sits futilely at one’s desk, sifting through months of papers, magazines, articles, and the like. Pondering, perplexing, and worrying about upcoming commitments and wishing one had a handy place to keep track of such things.

It being already mid November, I pretty much gave up on this year, instead resolving to get a jump on next year’s organization by scouring the Internet for all types of planners, agendas, and so on. It was there that I discovered this most wonderful invention by Moleskine, makers of fine bound notebooks, the eighteen month planner. I thought, and still think it a genius idea to make a planner that starts half way through a year. I find it difficult to explain why, but I’m sure anyone who’s found themselves in the same position as I will agree.
